Alberto Perusset—known as the “barefoot runner”— was invited to Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio Marathon, a marathon in honor of runner Larry Macon’s 2000th marathon, on Sunday, Dec. 3. Macon, 72, ran his first marathon 20 years ago. According to Perusset, Macon “is the only American to compete 2,000 marathons.”
