Alex Harthaller, a player on the Waves men’s volleyball team, received CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-American Men’s At-Large first team honors on June 14.
The award is typically given to student-athletes who excel both in their sport and academic career. Harthaller is the fifth Wave to receive the honor and the first to be given first team status. He was one of university’s valedictorians this year. Harthaller was given Mountain Pacific Sports Federation All-Academic team honors as well.
