The Malibu Film Society (MFS) confirmed an encore presentation of “Darkest Hour” among its upcoming screenings, due to popular demand. A panel will accompany the screening with actors Gary Oldman and Ben Mendelsohn on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 7:30 p.m.

MFS also has plans for family-friendly screenings in honor of Thanksgiving. Friday, Nov. 24, will be a double feature with “Coco,” an animated feature revolving around Día de los Muertos, at 5 p.m. and “The Big Sick,” loosely based on comedian Kumail Nanjiani’s relationship with wife Emily Gordon, at 7:30 p.m.

A four-hour documentary on American rock band Grateful Dead, titled “Long Strange Trip,” will screen on Sunday, Nov. 26, at 5 p.m. MFS will supply pizza for a 20-minute intermission.
