King Gillette Ranch to host Mexican art show over holiday weekend

The Western National Parks Association is hosting a Mexican Art Show and Sale over Memorial Day weekend showcasing several renowned Mexican artists at King Gillette Ranch in the Santa Monica Mountains.

From Sat., May 25, through Monday, May 27, visitors are encouraged to browse through one-of-a-kind works and observe hourly artist demonstrations, set to include experts in ornate potteries, exquisite Zapotec rugs and Oaxacan wood carvings.

Admission to the show and sale is free. The event starts at 9 a.m. and lasts until 5 p.m. each day. Hourly demonstrations are planned on the hour from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
