Last week, when shopping at the local market, I saw a picture of Bob Stallings, director of Parks and Rec. for the City of Malibu, who had just died. Well, I could not believe my eyes. I just saw him a few weeks ago and he seemed fine.
The City of Malibu and I have lost a very valuable employee, friend and just a wonderful caring person who happened to work for the City of Malibu. He always wanted to make it a better place for all the citizens of Malibu. Â
However, he certainly allowed me to bring in all types of programs to make the Senior Center a great place for all to come and enjoy.
I will miss him greatly. He was a dear man and a good friend, besides being a great leader and just a wonderful human being.
I know he will be greatly missed by me and lots of others who came in contact with him.
