Webster Elementary School underwent a facelift as part of the Windows, Paint, Floors and Doors project to modernize the space. Over the summer, more than 680 windows and 109 doors were added with new flooring and interior paint. Accessibility upgrades were made to the outside of the structure.
The project, however, is still in progress. The staff restroom in the Cafetorium will be redone. Classrooms 13-16 will also receive replacement windows and doors. In the final phase, rooms 17-20 will be updated.
Windows, Paint, Floors and Doors is managed by the Facility Improvement Projects Department and is funded through Measure ES.
