Malibu native Alicia H. Peak married Juan Carlos Lugo at a private home in Montecito, Calif. on Sept. 7.
Peak graduated from Malibu High school in 2004, before going on to attend San Francisco State University and completing her graduate studies at Pepperdine University. Peak currently teaches eighth grade math and history. She is the daughter of Denise Peak and the late Dusty Peak, and the sister of Malibu City Councilmember Skylar Peak.Â
Lugo attended South Hills High School and is a graduate of Occidental College.Â
The wedding party included a number of Malibu locals. The couple plans to travel to Mexico for their honeymoon.
