Three entries from the Malibu Library won top honors in the 2014 Los Angeles County Public Libraries Annual Bookmark Contest. Our Lady of Malibu’s Sheamus Daniels won first place in the K-2 division, Webster’s Michaela Kory won first place for the 3-5 grade division, and Vincent Nagelin won first place for the 6-8 grade division. Third District Supervisor Sheila Kuehl and Los Angeles Public Library Youth Services Program Coordinator Sue Muller presented the winners with a certificate during a special ceremony for the bookmark contest winners at the Hall of Administration in downtown Los Angeles.
