Mo Bardovi

Malibu High School Senior golfer Mo Bardovi is currently second overall in league after two games.

Bardovi has been playing since he was 12 years old when he accompanied his dad and his friend on a golf game and he became hooked. His goal this year is to win league and improve his game, as he has consistently done every year of his high school career (he was 2nd team all league in his freshmen year, 1st team all league his sophomore year, and 1st team all CIF his junior year).

Bardovi said his favorite aspect of golf is being out on the course with his friends and away from everything. His biggest struggle thus far, he said, has been with his short game, as he has put a great deal of work into it. He thought about playing in college, but has decided that he wants to focus more on his education.

Bardovi’s biggest accomplishment so far has been winning a national tournament in Northern California during the summer of his junior year.

When he is not playing golf, Bardovi maintains a 4.0 GPA, works on his various film projects and is a member of Shark TV. His favorite movie is “Home Alone.”
