Kaitlyn Connors was awarded first prize in the high school division of The Annual Malibu Rotary Middle and High School singing competition held last Thursday at the Malibu High School auditorium. She and second place winner Ren Martinez will advance to compete in the Rotary District High School Music Competition in Los Angeles in May.
Malibu local Patty Phillips from Patty’s Pizza taught special education students and members of the Best Buddies organization to make pizza at Malibu High School on Feb. 12.
