Sexual assault suit can be brought against Nolte
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gerald Rosenberg last Thursday denied a motion to dismiss a lawsuit against Malibu actor Nick Nolte filed by a woman who claimed a person drugged and sexually assaulted her during a party at Nolte’s home.
The woman, who is 18 but was 15 at the time of the alleged incident on Jan. 25, 2003, says she was given the drug GHB, known as the date-rape drug, prior to the assault.
The lawsuit alleges that Nolte’s son, Brawley, conspired with another defendant in the suit, Nicolas Woodring, to plan the assault. Woodring was convicted of a misdemeanor for having sex with a minor.
