Crime Report

The following incidents were reported between 11/20 — 11/27:

11/20

Graffiti gate

A wooden fence outside a PCH residence was vandalized with graffiti.

11/21

Petty theft, grand theft

A vehicle parked on Ocean View Drive was stolen after another vehicle left unlocked overnight was broken into and keys to the first vehicle were taken.

Notes nabbed

Paperwork was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked on Ocean View Drive.

Crime spree

A third crime on Ocean View Drive occurred when a purse, wallet and currency were stolen from an unlocked vehicle. The purse was later recovered.

Parcel picked

A parcel containing a $35 ceramic Christmas angel ornament was stolen from a delivery truck parked on Mulholland Highway. The parcel was addressed to a local jewelry store.

Vehicle vandalism

Two windows were smashed in a vehicle parked near El Pescador State Beach, though nothing was discovered missing. 

11/26

Business burglary

More than $1,500 worth of cash and cigarettes was stolen overnight from a PCH business. An additional $2,000 of damage was done during the break-in. 

11/27

Beer and beef

About 20 cases of beer and 10 boxes of meat were stolen from a restaurant on PCH, along with a television.

Quarter thief

Two purses, several boxes of books and clothes and about $20 in quarters were stolen from a locked vehicle on Wakecrest Drive.
