Arnold G. York was involved in a car accident Thursday afternoon on Pacific Coast Highway near Carbon Canyon Road.
He was taken to UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, but did not suffer any major injuries. He is being kept overnight in the hospital for observation and is expected to be released from the hospital Friday. There were no other victims in the accident.
Mr. York and his wife and co-publisher, Karen York, thanked everyone who has been calling, concerned about his welfare.
