Children from Gan Malibu Preschool took an exploration in nutrition by visiting the Malibu Farmers Market recently. At the school, students have been experimenting with new foods during “family style” lunches. During the farmers market visit, children brought their own recycled grocery bags, tasted a variety of foods and negotiated what they decided to purchase. They tried new foods, like dragon fruit, as well as familiar fare such as apples.
