I had a medical emergency related to the stress of the Woolsey Fire. My wife drove me to Malibu Urgent Care late Thanksgiving afternoon about 45 minutes before they closed. The doctor and staff were incredibly thorough, professional and caring. They did tests on me and sent for an ambulance to St. John’s. As it turns out, they helped over 100 patients with fire related situations. Many had no insurance or the ability to pay. Malibu is so fortunate to have such a dedicated group available to everyone. Much of their funding is based on donations. These are difficult times, but if you are able to help them, they would be much appreciative. They are there for us, we must be there for them.
