A privately funded firework display is scheduled off the shore of Point Dume on Saturday, Sept. 6, according to the City of Malibu.
The permit was issued by the L.A. County Fire Department and the show is scheduled for 9 p.m. It will be shot from a barge “in the vicinity of Cliffside Drive,” the city announcement stated. Cliffside Drive is located on the southeastern face of Point Dume.Â
