City Art Show Seeking Student Submissions

Student artists show off their certificates with their families and friends at the City of Malibu’s annual Student Art Show. 

The City of Malibu is preparing to accept artwork for its Eighth Annual Malibu Student Art Show, hosted by the Malibu Village. The art show is scheduled to take place on Saturday, Feb. 11, and featured work from local students will be on display in the Pop-Up Art Gallery, located at Cross Creek Road and Pacific Coast Highway.

Kindergarten to 12th grade students are asked to submit one piece of framed or matted artwork to Malibu City Hall, 23825 Stuart Ranch Road, or Michael Landon Center at Malibu Bluffs Park, 24250 Pacific Coast Highway, Jan. 30 – Feb. 7, between the hours of 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

The mid-February art show is free to the public, and will be opened from 11 a.m. — 5 p.m., with an artist’s reception from 12-2 p.m.
