Actress, comedian and writer Amy Schumer, 36, recently chose Malibu for her surprise wedding ceremony to Chris Fischer, 38, the day before Valentine’s Day. She is known for “Trainwreck” (2015), “Inside Amy Schumer” (2013), “Snatched” (2017) and several TV comedy specials and series.

Schumer and Fischer were married at a rented house that overlooks the ocean, according to Us

Weekly, with a celebrity-packed guest list that included Jennifer Lawrence, Jake Gyllenhaal, Larry David, David Spade, Judd Apatow and around 80 other guests. Amy and Chris exchanged vows on a bluff overlooking the ocean. According to The

Blast, Schumer had invited even more famous faces, but the last-minute ceremony meant that some invitees were out of town.

The couple was first spotted together in New York City last November. Fischer, a chef, currently lives in Martha’s Vineyard on Beetlebung Farm, where he wrote his award-winning “Beetlebung Farm Cookbook.” His restaurant, Beach Plum, is allegedly a Martha’s Vineyard favorite of the Obamas.

Schumer’s sister Kim Caramele and another friend acted as bridesmaids at the wedding, and comedian John Early officiated the ceremony as his Midwestern mom comedian character “Vicky With a V.” Two dogs served as the flower girl and ring bearer.

According to numerous sources, guests were forbidden from bringing phones or taking photos, but Schumer released several photos from the wedding two days afterward on Instagram.
