St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church will celebrate the completion of its hillside road and parking facility renovations with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Sunday, June 5, at 11 a.m.
The road and parking facility make up the first phase of a multimillion dollar renovation for the church’s 4.3-acre campus. The project is planned to culminate with a major remodel of the church’s 55-year-old sanctuary.
“The outdoor ribbon cutting ceremony will acknowledge the scores of St. Aidan’s parishioners who have committed faith and finance to the long range renovation vision,” a parish representative wrote in a release.
Sunday’s ceremony will be followed with food and a communal celebration in the church courtyard. Parishioners, city officials and community members are invited to attend.
