The Malibu Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors has named Christine Hameline, managing associate of RE/MAX ELITE in Malibu, as its 2014 chairperson. She will take office in January.
Hameline and her mother Silvia founded the local real estate company. In addition to managing both residential & commercial divisions of RE/MAX ELITE, she chairs the RE/MAX Executive Board at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.
Before coming to work at RE/MAX ELITE, Hameline graduated from the University of Southern California, where she was recognized nationally for her leadership and fundraising for UNICEF, The United Nations Children’s Fund.
In regards to the coming year, Hameline says she looks forward to being able to serve the business community in Malibu. “My hope is to continue to strengthen and support our local Malibu businesses,” she said.
Hameline takes over from 2013 Chairwoman Beth Pearcey-Neal, the Director of Marketing at Malibu Golf Club.
