Malibuite Jeannie Long published “Running from the Heart,” a devotional book on heartbreak. The book follows the last eight years of her late daughter Rebecca’s (who died on May 8, 2014) life through journal entries, supplemented with messages from Long.
In an email to The Malibu Times, her husband Gerard said, “One of Rebecca’s passions was to be a ‘voice for the voiceless’ and, in particular, she had a strong heart to free anyone caught in the grip of ‘human trafficking.’ As a result, profits from “Running from the Heart” are being used to fight against ‘human trafficking’ and to provide clean water to the abject poor in India.”
