Any of you who have been frustrated, as I am, by the disinclination of our local street-side recycling to “take” the plastic tubs from yoghurt, vegetable oil-spreads, hors d’oeuvre containers, miso, tapioca, Jello or other puddings, take-away-under the heading of #5 or #6 Plastic (Polypropylene)-an Earth 911.org Web search turned up the news that Tomra Pacific Inc., who collect Ralphs #731 (Malibu Road) recycling, will pick up all plastics! The management seems unaware of this, but I just took a pile in and approached the person at the desk, and he said he would take it. Hooray! Now you try it!
