The Labor Day Dinghy Parade, hosted by Catalina Island’s Cherry Cove Yacht Club, took place on Sept. 3. Malibu resident and Cherry Cove Commodore Darren Murray took first place, trophy and all. This year’s parade theme was superheroes. Murray’s family and friends joined him on the boat. In the front middle, dressed in Superman gear, are Colin, Taylor and his wife Kristin.
