Yesterday the big news reached us that a family of tiger-lovers wants to bring their beloved 1,000-pound creatures into our wonderfully serene neighborhood.
I would like to point out what happened a few years ago in Moorpark, where a tiger got out, probably because of human error, and hundreds of personnel went on an official tiger hunt in Ventura county, until somebody finally shot the poor animal in the Santa Monica Mountains.
I really do not think that it would be appropriate to let five tigers move in to our neighborhood!
Malibu officials did not even let me put up lights on my tennis court, a far less dangerous endeavor, and now they want to let tigers move in? People, wake up.
After a little research, I found out that the owners of these animals live in lovely Beverly Hills. So, I suggest, they take their beloved cats into their backyard and deal with the danger there, not to mention the smell that these beasts cause.
