The final leg of a seven-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to raise money and awareness for the fight against HIV/AIDS will run along Pacific Coast Highway in town Saturday.
The estimated 2,700 participants in the AIDS/LifeCycle 2017 ride will leave San Buenaventura State Beach in Ventura early Saturday morning, traveling south on PCH through Malibu, according to information provided by the City of Malibu.Â
No lane closures have been reported in connection with the race, but drivers are asked to be mindful of bicyclists and obey traffic laws, including leaving space for bike riders along the side of the highway.
