It seems like the heat wave Malibu has been experiencing lately is finally going to let up this weekend, just in time for the annual Coastal Cleanup Day.
The event will take place on Saturday across beaches in Malibu such as Zuma Beach, Leo Carrillo State Beach, Malibu Surfrider Beach and Topanga State Beach. Volunteers will spend part of the day picking up trash doing other activities to promote the well-being of local beaches.
The weather forecast shows cooler weather ahead for Malibu. Saturday will be partly cloudy with a high of 72 degrees. The clouds present during the day are supposed to give way to clear skies with a low of 58 on Saturday night.
Sunday is expected to be sunny with a high of 73 degrees with the same weather pattern continuing into the week.
