The Carolyn Costin Institute (CCI) is officially open. The institute trains the local community on how to helps those who are suffering from mental illness — currently, students are trained to help those fighting eating disorders. Longtime Malibu resident Carolyn Costin has designed the course to help non-professionals aid those with eating disorders and help them overcome their illness.
The CCI training program is rigorous and each student must want a thorough course. Both clinicians and non-clinicians have used the CCI training to provide guidance and support, exposure and response prevention for clients with eating disorders.
“The CCI eating disorder coaching course is thorough, rigorous and only for those who want an in-depth training and certification they can be proud of,” according to information provided by the institute.
