Malibu’s Most Wanted, the U-14 select soccer team, made tournament history during Thanksgiving weekend by shutting out all its opponents. The tournament took place at Balboa Park in Encino, and was attended by competitive soccer teams from throughout the Valley. Malibu goalie Brian Cameron made several dramatic saves during the tournament, and was helped by his awesome defenders to earn the shutout victories. Malibu won the championship game against Balboa in the final minutes of overtime when midfielder Ryan Walczuk made a powerful kick into the goal, which was headed in by forward Daniel Krafft.
