Malibuite Julie Friedman-Kagon was recently appointed to the Los Angeles County Commission on Women. Brought on by County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, Friedman-Kagon will help the commission with advice regarding the needs as well as discrimination and prejudice of women, among other actions.
She is currently the director of the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women’s Health Education & Research Center.
