Jackie Gagne, who has hit a reported 15 holes in one this year will be among the attendees at this year's tournament.

A slew of special guests will be at the Malibu Country Club on Saturday for Women in Film’s 10th annual Malibu Celebrity Golf Classic. The event raises money for Women in Film, an organization that supports women in the industry through a variety of ways and heightens awareness on many social issues through public service announcements.

Among those expected to attend the festivities are actor Dennis Haysbert, talk show host Carson Daly, Jackie Gagne (who has been in the news for hitting a reported 15 holes in one this year) and WIF President Jane Fleming, who will serve as the event’s honorary chair.

The tournament includes teams of four and a shotgun start, with the groups teeing off simultaneously at different holes throughout the course. There will be a scramble scoring system, meaning despite individually teeing off, the players reposition their balls to where the team’s best shot sits, and play from there.

The event will also include a golf clinic from the LPGA’s Vicki Fergon, a putting contest and prizes for the longest drive. Also, anybody who manages to hit a hole in one will win a GM car. Following the tournament, an auction and dinner reception will take place.

Tournament registration will take place at 12 p.m. on the day of the event. Play begins at 1:15 p.m. For more information on how to participate or become a sponsor, contact WIF Vice President of Membership Candace Bowen at candace@malibuonline.com or by calling 310.457.8664.
