Malibu Presbyterian Church Raises Funds for Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

The Malibu Presbyterian Church seeks to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey by hosting a special offering for the next two Sundays, Sept. 9 and 16. Half of the funds raised will be sent to their sister churches in Texas to help maximize relief efforts. The second half will be directly donated to World Renew, A Covenant Order of Evangelical Presbyterians partner and disaster assistant organization that had been in the Houston area prior to the hurricane.

In the meantime, the church will also be hosting its third annual ice cream social on Sept. 8 at 6:30 p.m. at 3324 Malibu Canyon Road. Those interested are encouraged to bring their own picnic dinner.
