Malibu-Tales By The Sea, storytelling for grownups, will, on May 16, present its second home concert of the season, dedicated to “Telling the Holy.”
“Telling the Holy speaks of those times when you are turned either inside out, upside down or otherwise,” producer Ann Buxie said. “A time when something falls into or out of place and you become vaster, humbler, or wiser as a result.”
The concert is free of charge and features six performers including Latina writer and storyteller Margarita Medina, Malibuite Andy Mattick, guitarist Gilbert Chavez, Glynis Brooks, Michael Shepperd, and Bhargava, a student and practitioner of the traditions of India. Potluck refreshments will be served after the concert.
