Young mathematicians were honored during the Second Trimester Awards Assembly at Our Lady of Malibu Awards.

Among the awards presented, the AMC (American Mathematics Competition) winners from the Honors 7 and Honors 8 math classes received certificates for their outstanding work during the school’s annual test, which includes challenging questions and problem-solving experiences beyond the normal curriculum. 

Eighth-grade student Harry Culhane received first place in his class followed by Liam Mudd and Jillian Neuner, who tied for second place. Harry also received the AMC Winner Pin for the school’s highest score.
