The second northbound lane in the 22300 block of Pacific Coast Highway, between Carbon Mesa Road and Carbon Beach Terrace, will be closed Sunday through Thursday nights for the next four weeks due to night construction, according to an alert from the City of Malibu.
Closures will occur from 8 p.m. through 6 a.m. The project, which will install new water pipes along the highway, is expected to be completed by Feb. 5.
The city asks motorists to use caution when driving through the construction area.
