Friday Lane Closures on Las Flores Canyon Road

Construction at Las Flores Park just north of Pacific Coast Highway will cause intermittent lane closures to Las Flores Canyon Road throughout the day Friday, Feb. 27, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to the City of Malibu, a pre-fabricated bathroom unit will be delivered to the park on Friday and lowered into place using a crane.

Periodic delays are expected as installation work continues throughout the day.

The installation of the bathroom is part of a larger Las Flores Creek Park improvement project that is set to continue through March, and also includes the construction of a pedestrian bridge connecting the narrow park to the existing parking lot located just west across the creek on Rambla Pacifica Road.
