[Updated, 10 a.m.] The westbound side of Pacific Coast Highway between the Malibu Pier and Serra Road will be narrowed down to one lane for much of Thursday as crews complete surface road repairs, according to Los Angeles County Public Works.
The No. 2 lane closure is scheduled to last until 3 p.m. while Public Works completes a 30-by-12 foot patch repair in the roadway. The surface repairs stem from a line break earlier this year that cut off water supply to the Adamson House, according to Kerjon Lee, spokesperson for Public Works.
A temporary fix has been in place since then and Thursday should mark a permanent fix on the break, he said.
The road closure began at approximately 9 a.m.
