Planning Commission summary
The Planning Commission on Monday denied architect Ron Goldman’s appeal of the planning manager’s approval for a coastal development permit issued to allow construction of a 7,330-square-foot home at the 24000 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
Also at the meeting, the commission approved coastal permits for the construction of a 1,124-square-foot, two-story home on Sea Level Drive and for the remodeling of a home on the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway. The commission continued a hearing to April 17 on a permit request to construct a 7,330-square-foot home on the 22000 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
Spring Boutique to raise money for MHS
Malibu High School will host a Spring Boutique in the old gym on Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. More than 30 vendors will be selling items, with a portion of the money going to Malibu High School.
Also at the event, Malibu Musical Mermaids will perform flute music from 12:45 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Malibu to celebrate birthday
The city of Malibu will celebrate its 15th birthday on Tuesday. Cake and coffee will available in the Council Chambers at City Hall at 3 p.m. City Hall is located at 23815 Stuart Ranch Road. More information can be obtained by calling 456.2489.
