Local athletes on the Santa Monica Vikings Youth Football team helped the team win the Tiny Mite Pacific Coast Championship.
Players from Malibu include Max Alexander, of Point Dume Elementary, Daniel Rafeedie, of Webster Elementary, Justin Pilot and Marco Siderman, of Juan Cabrillo Elementary. Quarterback Marco Siderman and wide receiver Max Alexander set the new season record for touchdown passes in the league this year.
