St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church will host its 13th annual Harvest of Hope wine and food festival, “Rising from the Ashes,” on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 3 to 6 p.m.

The event will feature a variety of local wines, music and food tasting and a silent auction to benefit local charities. Harvest of Hope has contributed more than $150,000 in proceeds to charities such as Malibu Community Labor Exchange, Habitat for Humanity/LA, School on Wheels and Vida Jordan. This year, a portion of the proceeds will be directed to The Malibu Foundation in support of community members impacted by last year’s Woolsey Fire.

A number of local and California wines will be available for tasting, including Malibu Family Wines, Dolin Malibu Estate Vineyards and Pierce Ranch, among others.

Food tasting will be prepared be members of the Private Chef Guild and chefs who will participate include Maria Manuel, Micko Ortiz, and Clay from Big Sugar Bakeshop.

Tickets can be purchased online at aidanschurch.org for $45 in advance and $55 at the door; children are free. The event will take place at the parish campus, located at 28211 Pacific Coast Highway across from Paradise Cove. For more information on purchasing tickets, contact the church office at 310.457.7966 or office@staidanschurch.org.
