A four vehicle accident that occurred just before 2 p.m. in Eastern Malibu just west of Topanga Canyon Boulevard had Pacific Coast Highway traffic stalled in both directions Saturday.

According to officials at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station, one lane of traffic is open heading eastbound toward Santa Monica and westbound traffic heading into Malibu is being redirected into the center median and one of the eastbound lanes.

It is unclear at this time the extent of injuries, as emergency crews were just arriving at 2:10 p.m.

“Deputies are directing traffic, but I don’t think anyone has been moved yet,” said Lieutenant Mathers.
