The 23rd annual Malibu Cook’s Tour, sponsored by Malibu Methodist Nursery School, is gearing up for another spectacular tour of Malibu homes taking place this Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds from the tour benefit the school’s scholarship program.

The progressive tour will feature four stunning estates ranging from Malibu traditional to innovative contemporary architecture featuring creative furnishings, jaw-dropping views and lavish gardens.

Food will be served in each home, donated by local chefs, restaurants and caterers.

A Modern Beach elegance home originally designed by local architect Ed Niles will showcase 180-degree views of mountains on one side, and the ocean on the other, as well as one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork. The Church Estate Vineyards features rustic French Chateau ambience, with nine acres of vineyards and gardens, and antiques from throughout the world. The Paradise on the Point home is an elegant yet contemporary delight, with luxurious details, such as a walk-in closet that one would want to live in full time, formal dining and living areas, a butler’s pantry and a mahogany-paneled library.

Food at each home will be served by restaurants Tra di Noi, La Spiaggia and Charlie’s, and chefs Jennifer Naylor and Amy Jurist. Also, Truffles by Chez Simone is back for a third year on the tour.

Gift baskets will be for sale and the Malibu Funkadelic Jazz Band will provide the music.

Malibu Methodist Nursery and Infant/Toddler Center is a nonprofit that provides both a quality education and childcare. The Cook’s Tour fundraiser supports a scholarship program for families in the community with financial needs.

The Malibu Cook’s Tour is a long-standing tradition in the Malibu community and is limited to 350 passports.

The tour begins at Malibu Methodist Nursery School, 30128 Morning View Drive.

Passport tickets are $65 per person. Reservations can be obtained by calling 310.457.5144.
