A two-car accident on Malibu Canyon Road near Piuma Road during Monday’s rush hour was causing delays for commuters, according to an alert issued by the City of Malibu.
The crash was reported at 4:41 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. A Toyota Tacoma truck and Volkswagen Jetta were apparently involved in the crash, which blocked some lanes.Â
By 5 p.m., a tow truck was en route to help at the scene. It was not known whether anyone sustained injuries in the accident.
