Malibu’s youngest baseball players will hit the diamond for the first time this season at Malibu Bluffs Park on Saturday.
Malibu Little League will hold its annual opening day celebration this weekend after inclement weather pushed back the festivities. The event, which begins at 7 a.m., will feature a breakfast, team pictures, opening ceremonies, lunch, a raffle and autographed baseball bat silent auction—plus, of course, plenty of baseball action starring youngsters.
The MLL was set to begin on March 3, but opening day was delayed a week due to rain.
