Malibu, we need every registered voter to vote for Craig Foster to have a Santa Monica-Malibu Board of Education seat. With seven individuals running for seats, your one vote, only for Foster, enhances his chance of winning. Your calling of friends in Santa Monica is also very helpful.
I will not go into all of Foster’s qualifications — you have seen them — which include President of AMPS, the SMMUSD Financial Advisory Council, being a teacher and his overall drive to make Malibu its own school district, which sort of say it all. I believe he knows the school system better than a lot of school “experts and management.” He is articulate and knows the laws. Vote for Foster and put your students in a better “environment” and education.
I am a retired parent/student school advocate and I always knew — as most of you — that a seat on the SMMUSD Board is extremely important. So here is a great opportunity for Malibu — as well as Santa Monica — to pick a winner.
