The Malibu High School (MHS) varsity cheerleading squad took first place in the Small Varsity Non-Tumbling division of the UCA Southern California Championship.
The girls’ victory made them the first squad in MHS history to qualify for Nationals at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida.
Donations to sponsor the squad for nationals can be made to the Malibu High Booster Club.
