Groovers and shakers danced the night away at Point Dume Marine Science School’s ’70s-inspired Annual Fundraiser Dinner last weekend at the Malibu West Beach Club. More than 125 parents, teachers, donors and local supporters dressed up for the ’70s-theme benefit that included a red carpet, catering by Mangia and live music from “The Disco Kings.” A live auction to benefit support for the school included various vacation packages to New York, Maui and Las Vegas, and also a private jam-session with Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ Chad Smith.
