Bobbi Hurst, vice president of membership, inducted Aya Yoshida as a new member of the Malibu Woman’s Club at a recent meeting. Yoshida was sponsored for membership by MWC President Charlotte Ward, and is active in the Corral Canyon Operation Recovery Justice. She was a curator of Japanese art at Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and resides in Malibu with her husband. MWC is comprised of 30 women devoted to contributing to the educational excellence of Malibu youth. They are now planning their scholarship program and luncheon for 2010 recipients.
