Malibu seeks community feedback on preliminary designs for three Community Lands Properties

The City of Malibu is inviting residents to help shape the future of three City-owned vacant properties by providing feedback on preliminary design concepts that could guide future recreational, community, and public-use improvements.

The concepts focus on the Ioki Property, Heathercliff Property, and Triangle Lot Property, with proposed ideas aimed at expanding recreational opportunities, enhancing community services, and improving public facilities for residents and visitors.

According to the City, the preliminary concepts also incorporate parking requirements associated with Los Angeles County Measure R and Measure M funding, which was used to acquire the properties.

Community members are encouraged to review each concept and share their thoughts through an online survey. Participants can indicate their level of support for the proposed designs, identify concerns, and offer suggestions that may help refine the plans before they move forward.

City officials say public input is an important part of the planning process and will help ensure the future development of these community lands reflects the needs and priorities of Malibu residents.
