The Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur of the Year Awards last month announced the 2010 independent judging panel for the greater Los Angeles area, which includes Malibu residents Moira Conlon of Financial Profiles, Inc., and Dr. Linda Livingstone, dean of the Pepperdine Graziadio School of Business.
The panel, which selects the regional Entrepreneur of the Year award finalists and winners, is made up of leaders from local businesses, academic institutions and civic organizations. This year’s award winners will be announced at The Beverly Hilton on June 22.
Awards are given to entrepreneurs who have demonstrated excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.Â
To be eligible for consideration, the nominee must be an owner/manager of a private or public company who is primarily responsible for the recent performance of the company and an active member of top management. Additionally, the nominee’s company must be at least three years old.
