Malibu resident Joseph Kanter released a new book, “Your Life, Your Health: Sharing Your Digital Health Could Save Your Life.” Kanter, a health care advocate, reminds people that 400,000 people die needlessly in the U.S. every year because of misdiagnosis and medical errors.
Kanter, 91, is chairman of the board of the Joseph H. Kanter Family Foundation. His book outlines a strategy for implementing a Learning Health System using electronic health records.
